Dit is mijn lied, O God van alle naties, een lied van vrede voor landen van ver en van mij; Dit is mijn thuis, het land waar mijn hart is; hier zijn mijn hoop, mijn dromen, mijn geheime heiligdom; maar andere harten in andere landen kloppen met hoop en dromen zo waar en hoog als de mijne.
De lucht van mijn land is blauwer dan de oceaan, en zonlicht straalt op Klaverblad en dennen; maar andere landen hebben ook zonlicht, en klaver, en de hemel is overal zo blauw als het mijne: o hoor mijn lied, gij God van alle naties, een lied van vrede voor hun land en voor het mijne.
