I am chit that is Omniscient
I am ananda that is all pervasive
I am the lord of all, Om The fourth prevades the three as an invariable existence
The three cannot stand apart frOm the fourth
The three letters, which constitutes (Om), is pervaded by the self
Certainly Om is the self-absolute
I am the one who shines in the sun & the moon
I am the one who shines in you
I am the one in whose presence existence shines
I am indeed the light of lights
In all states of experience i shine alone
I am shivam, shivahOm

Ik ben niet vaishvanara, de eerste
Ik ben niet taijasa, de tweede
Ik ben prajna niet, de derde.
Ik ben de turiya, de vierde
Ik ben satyam die niet kan worden ontkend
Ik ben alomtegenwoordig.
Ik ben ananda die doordringend is.
Ik ben de heer van allen, Om de vierde preveert de drie als een onveranderlijk bestaan
De drie kunnen niet los staan van de vierde
De drie letters, die (Om) vormen, worden doordrongen door het zelf
Zeker, Om is het zelf-absolute
Ik ben degene die schijnt in de zon en de maan
Ik ben degene die in jou schijnt.
Ik ben degene in wiens aanwezigheid het bestaan schijnt.
Ik ben inderdaad het licht van de lichten
In alle staten van ervaring straal ik alleen
