De stad uit trekken

De prijs van de brandstof ging omhoog, maïs ging omlaag
En ik denk niet dat we Bobby nog zullen zien.
Het is een moeilijk land.
Vorig jaar waren de velden te nat om te ploegen.

En dit jaar zeggen ze dat het lijkt op een droogte
Maar ik kan niet weg.
Mijn wortels gaan diep in dit harde land

Hij zegt dat hij goed geld verdient.
