The death watch was over
Buried four days
Somebody said, he’ll soon be here, the Lord is on his way
Martha ran to him, and then she cried
Lord if you had been here, you could’ve healed him, he’d still be alive
But you’re four days late and all hope is gone
Lord we don’t understand why you’ve waited so long
But his ways are God’s ways
Not yours or mine

Jesus said Martha, show me the grave
but she said Lord, you don’t understand he’s been there four days
the grave stone was rolled back
then Jesus cried, «Lazaurus come forth'

Het nieuws kwam tot Jezus.
Kom snel.
Lazaurus is ziek, en zonder jouw hulp.
hij zal het niet volhouden.
Maria en Martha, zagen hun broer sterven.
Ze wachtten op Jezus, Hij kwam niet en vroegen zich af waarom?
De dodenwacht was voorbij.
Vier dagen begraven
Iemand zei, hij zal hier snel zijn, de Heer is onderweg.
Martha rende naar hem toe en toen huilde ze.
Heer, als u hier was geweest, had u hem kunnen genezen, Hij zou nog in leven zijn.
Maar je bent vier dagen te laat en alle hoop is weg
Heer, we begrijpen niet waarom u zo lang hebt gewacht.
Maar zijn wegen zijn Gods wegen.
Niet de jouwe of de mijne.
en is het niet geweldig
als hij vier dagen te laat is, is hij nog steeds op tijd.
Jezus zei Martha, toon me het graf
maar ze zei Heer, U begrijpt niet dat hij daar al vier dagen is.
de grafsteen werd teruggerold.
Toen riep Jezus: "Lazaurus kom tevoorschijn"
en iemand zei, hij leeft, hij leeft…
hij leeft nog.
Je vecht misschien, een strijd van angst.
Je hebt geroepen tot de Heer, Ik heb je nu nodig maar is niet verschenen
Wees niet ontmoedigd, hij is nog steeds hetzelfde.
Hij zal snel hier zijn, hij rolt de steen terug en roept op uw naam
Als hij vier dagen te laat is en alle hoop weg is
Heer, we begrijpen niet waarom u zo lang hebt gewacht.
