What’s the point in leaving to begin with
when you never let it go. «It's far away from me.
A distance larger than the pain",
I try to tell myself, but the more I try to scrub away the stain the more I want to be there.
Yet something whispers,"Look where you’ve gotten on your own
thus far, alone and in the dark".
Nobody knows your name. Everything looks the same.
At least I can share my pain.

Hier. Daar ga ik. Dag voor dag.
En ik weet als ik mijn hoofd boven het water houd
dan heb ik een kans om terug naar de kust te zwemmen.
Verscheurd. In tweeën gescheurd. Draai het mes. Kleed de schroef uit.
Ik red me wel. Ik zal op tijd genezen. Mezelf ervan overtuigen dat,
"Het is geen deel van mij. Het is niet belangrijk meer.
Het is maar een herinnering en ik heb die deur allang gesloten.»
Mijne. Voor altijd van mij. Ik voel me nog steeds ziek en het is al zeven weken.
Ik mis je gezicht. Ik mis de gloed.
Wat heeft het voor zin om weg te gaan?
als je het nooit loslaat. "Het is ver weg van mij.
Een afstand groter dan de pijn",
Ik probeer het mezelf te vertellen, maar hoe meer ik probeer de vlek weg te schrobben, hoe meer ik er wil zijn.
Maar iets fluistert: "kijk waar je zelf bent gekomen.
tot nu toe, alleen en in het donker".
Niemand kent je naam. Alles ziet er hetzelfde uit.
Ik kan tenminste mijn pijn delen.
