So Guinevere sat smiling, 'neath the holly and the ivy
As maid and lover clung at what they thought was dreadful news

Guinevere zat tussen de Hulst en de klimop.
En daar enthousiast hoorde ze de smeekbeden van minnaars ijdel en waar
