Oh de nacht dat Paddy Murphy stierf, is een nacht die ik nooit zal vergeten
Sommige jongens waren dronken en zijn nog niet nuchter.;
Zolang er een fles rondging voelde elke man zich homo.
O' Leary kwam met de doedelzakken, wat muziek om te spelen
Zo toonden ze hun respect voor Paddy Murphy.
Zo lieten ze hun eer en trots zien.;
