Alsof hij in de palm van God rust.
Ze beweegt in stille kringen, de mijne is pijnlijk om naar te kijken.
Soms bijna komisch
Zulke bewegingen in tegenstelling tot gewoontes zijn niet natuurlijk voor mij
Ik en ik zijn blij ons hoofd te dragen zoals het is.
Ze is trots op haar eigen reflectie.
Ze wordt koningin.
En ik labelde lokvogel om aandacht te trekken van haar schoonheid.
Hiervoor snuift ze en cirkelt me rond ondanks
Pirouettes, landt als een veer op de rust van het meer
Zonder geluid vliegt ze weer.
En weer begint het geklets over haar.
Gebrek aan sociale gratie als ze zich mengt met de gewone rassen
Ik ben een echte nar, zij meer de preuts
Met nekknopen vastgemaakt
Alsof ik enig teken van gelach afweer.
Ik ben veel tinten; zij is gewoon zwart en Wit
Het is niet haar schuld, we hebben haar gemaakt tot wat ze is.
Als ze de hint zou snappen, zou ze er als een gek vandoor gaan.
Ze wilde altijd al weg.
Ik ben gelukkig met mijn huis hier in het moeras.
