Als ik koning van het bos was, niet koningin, niet hertog, niet Prins.
Mijn regale gewaden van het bos, zouden satijn zijn, geen katoen, geen chintz.
Ik zou alles bevelen, of het nu vis of gevogelte is.
Met een woef en een woef en een koninklijke Grom — Woef.
Als ik met mijn hiel klikte, knielen alle bomen.
