Wintertijd, ik heb zo lang gewacht
De aarde begint te ontdooien.
Het water verandert in wijn.
Hij komt weer voor zijn bruid.
De bergstroom begint te stromen.
Eiken en appelschuren van hun sneeuw
en alle schepselen opstaan
de zon begint te schijnen
In het gras zijn de lelies gegroeid
Om hem te zien als hij thuiskomt.
Als al zijn kinderen zullen zingen
lof voor de glorieuze koning
Wintertijd ik heb zo lang gewacht
De aarde begint te ontdooien.
