Ik reed vrijdagavond de stad uit.
Ik moest gaan waar het niet in mijn zicht zou zijn.
Ik moest ' s nachts weg.
Ik begon alleen door het bos te rijden.
Ik ging naar de Love shack, maar de love shack was gesloten.
Ik moest terug naar huis.
Ik werd ergens gevraagd om mijn haar te kammen.
Ik draaide me om, maar ik zag niemand.
Het was de wind in Mijn haar.
Nou, dat is het uitzicht vanaf hier x4
Ik ga naar de hemel, maar het kan gesloten zijn.
Als ik in de hemel kom, ben ik waarschijnlijk helemaal alleen.
Er zal niemand thuis zijn.
Een dezer dagen ga ik schreeuwen
Wil iemand de wereld niet openen en me eruit laten!
Daar gaat het om.
