Dat kun je zien.
van de littekens op mijn armen
en de gezegden op mijn rok
en de deuken in mijn auto
en de aderen die op het punt staan te barsten
dat ik niet de meest zorgzame van meisjes ben

maar ik denk niet dat je me gelooft.

het is gewoon de manier waarop de operatie me gemaakt heeft en je kunt zien
vanuit de staat van mijn kamer
dat ze me te snel lieten gaan.
en de pillen die ik at
kwam een paar jaar te laat

van de rook op de brandstapel
dat de huidige toestand kritiek is
het zijn bijvoorbeeld de kleine dingen.:

excuseer haar voor de dag, het is gewoon de manier waarop de medicatie haar maakt…
ik geloof niet per se dat er een remedie voor is.
dus ik sluit me misschien aan bij uw eeuw, maar alleen als een twijfelachtige gast.
