Dit is leven.

Gewoon klappen en lichten aan.

Ik weet niet welke ik nu aantrek.
Ik heb honderd abonnementen op tijdschriften die ik nooit zal lezen.
Ik hou van post.
Ik staar naar het speelgoed op mijn muur.
Zich afvragend wat kan worden ingeslikt
Of een oogbal uitschakelen.
Of wat de mensen in China denken over deze dingen
Als ze ze maken
Ik ben niet gek.
Ik ben gewoon bezig met de gedachte om gek te worden.
Het balspel moet nu voorbij zijn.
Misschien laten ze een film zien.
Uit de jaren 80
En Ik zal me voorstellen hoe het zou zijn om toen te leven.
Op de leeftijd dat ik nu ben
Ik staar naar de achterkant van haar hoofd.
Ik probeer haar te laten omdraaien.
Het vlees op mijn kat voelen
Ik vraag me af hoe het zou zijn om haar te koken.
Maar dat doe ik niet.
Want dat zou een enorme ophef veroorzaken onder mijn vrienden.
