als ik de dekens trek om onze ogen te beschermen.
Het is hier niet koud, maar we waarderen het nog steeds.

We zijn niet dom en we weten dat het geen liefde is.
We zijn jong, een beetje angstig.
en oprechte waardering voor
elkaars sterke greep is nu alles wat we kunnen bedenken.
Gedurfd, Jong, nooit luisteren naar advies;
maar hier en nu.
we realiseren ons onze ondeugd:
Dat we sukkels zijn voor de omhelzing.
Dus hou vol voor het goede leven.
En soms in stilte zeggen we de machtigste dingen.
Maar het is pas achteraf dat we ons zulke gebeurtenissen realiseren.
Ik ben nog niet klaar voor dezelfde "hallo" en "vaarwel".
Dus Ik zal het proberen.
En dus is mijn geschenk aan jou een blinddoek in een deken.
