But I didn’t come out here to talk about sports

And I cannot think of one material object that has more status in this country

And it starts at a very early age now, right?
I mean, now at 14, kids want the car, right?
They get cheaters permits so they can drive
You get a learners permit at 15, a cheaters permit at 14
And it’s, I guess it’s really necessary because
You lose a lot of face calling up a girl and asking her
If you can peddle right over and pick her up, right?
They don’t really go for that any more
And if you look back on all the times you had the automobile
Aside from a few interesting saturday evenings

Ik wil graag iemand op het podium roepen die je kent als folkzanger.
Maar dat je hem nog niet ontmoet hebt in zijn andere rol.
Paul is een komiek met een uniek standpunt en commentaar.
En in deze hoedanigheid, dames en heren
Verwelkom met mij op het podium, mijn goede vriend

Ik deed het ook vrij goed, ik denk dat je erg trots op me zou zijn geweest.

Ik hou niet zo van sport.
Er is een groot aantal sporten waar ik niet in verzwolgen ben.
Er is waterskiën.
Om te waterskiën, moet je echt zwemmen, toch?
Je blijft daar niet de hele tijd.
En ik hou niet van zwemmen.
Weet je wat zwemmen voor mij is?
In leven blijven als ik in het water ben.

Ik doe alles om te overleven.

Ze krijgen een vergunning zodat ze kunnen rijden.
Je krijgt een leervergunning op je vijftiende, een valsspeler op je veertigste.
En het is, Ik denk dat het echt nodig is omdat
Je verliest veel gezicht als je een meisje belt en het haar vraagt.
Als je haar kunt oppikken, toch?
Daar trappen ze niet meer in.
En als je terugkijkt op alle keren dat je de auto had
Behalve een paar interessante zaterdagavond.
Je moet toegeven dat een van de mooiste momenten van allemaal
Het Was een zondagmiddag.
Kom naar beneden, ker-clunk ker-clunk ker-clunk ker-clunk

Mooie dag voor een ritje, ik denk dat ik naar buiten ga

Je pikt drie andere grote pretendenten op, drie uur in de middag.
De tijd is nu 10 oclock in de avond
Dezelfde vier mannen zitten in dezelfde auto.
