Toen hij daar in die cel zat, wist hij hoe het kwam.
En hij wist dat zijn leven voorbij was en hij kwam er nooit meer uit.
Maar er was één ding dat hij moest weten, hij moest een laatste pleidooi houden.

Hij werd geboren zodat hij de wereld kon vertellen dat het Koninkrijk nabij was.
En dat de Christus spoedig achter hem aan zou komen om het plan van de Vader te voltooien.
En hij wilde niets anders dan dit Koninkrijk zien groeien.
Het was het enige wat ertoe deed, het was alles wat hij moest weten.
