De Duitsers hadden het grootste schip met de grootste wapens.
De Bismarck was het snelste schip dat ooit over zee zeilde.
Op haar dekken waren geweren zo groot als stieren en granaten zo groot als bomen.
Uit de koude en mistige nacht kwam het Britse schip de capuchon
En elke Britse zeeman die hij kende en begreep
Ze moesten de Bismarck laten zinken de verschrikking van de zee
Stop die kanonnen zo groot als ossen en die granaten zo groot als bomen
We zullen het Duitse slagschip vinden dat zo' n ophef maakt.
