Ik kijk naar de oceaan zie reflecties op het water een glanzende verlichting van de stad lichten ver weg in de golven is de vorm van een walvis horen het zingen zijn oude lied zoals het altijd heeft gedaan het was gewoon een droom die komt en gaat als de oude seizoenen terwijl de wind nog steeds blaast de deur, stap buiten wandelen op de bevroren grond kijk in de lucht - een grijze wolk Winter is er nog steeds rond het zal een honderd jaar wachten op de zomer en niemand weet gewoon nog of we de walvissen weer zullen horen nucleaire winter bedekt de wereld voor bijna twintig jaar alles wat we bezitten zijn dromen en hoop voor de volgende generatie
