I grab the ball and I passed it in to Mike
Mike caught the pass, faked left and went right
He broke through the line and he threw it off the glass

Caught the pass in midair then he threw that boy down
Nobody could believe it, James fell over on the ground
He started cryin, put his hands on his head
And Big Blue looked at me and Mike and he said

So I jumped up in the air and I dunked it on his face
James was mad, I could see it in his eyes

Took a hard right step and then he slipped in dog poop

For the rest of the game, the lead went back and forth
It was all tied up when I checked the score board

With the spin move, I was headin straight for the hoop
I looked at Mike, put my hand up in the air
James was standin in the way but you know I didn’t care
Mike threw a perfect pass and I jumped so high
I was way up in the sky, dog it felt like I could fly
I grabbed the ball and I threw it down hard
Right on top of James, I felt like a superstar
That’s how me and Mike won the basketball game
We beat Big Blue and Big Bad James

And we heard James cry and we heard his mom scream

Op het veld voor een wedstrijd van twee tegen twee.,
Ik en Mike Vs. James en zijn jongen, Big Blue.
We gingen direct na school naar Kevins huis.
Omdat hij die nieuwe levenslange basketbalring kreeg.
We zijn klaar om te spelen.
We kwamen klaar om te winnen en de trofee mee naar huis te nemen die dag.
Big Blue zei dat je dat niet mee naar huis neemt.
"Hoe ga je scoren als ik hier voor je sta?»
Ik pak de bal en geef hem door aan Mike.
Mike ving de pas, deed alsof naar links en ging naar rechts.
Hij brak door de lijn en gooide het van het glas.
Ik kon mijn ogen niet geloven, hij rende zo snel
Hij ving de pas in de lucht en gooide die jongen neer.
Niemand kon het geloven, James viel op de grond.
Hij begon te huilen, legde zijn handen op zijn hoofd.
Big Blue keek naar mij en Mike en zei:
Waarom huilt James? - Omdat hij net ondergedompeld is. Ik lieg niet eens. hij is net ondergedompeld.
Dus sprong ik in de lucht en dook het op zijn gezicht.
James was boos, ik kon het in zijn ogen zien.
James wordt nooit ondergedompeld en James huilt nooit
Hij stond op, sloeg zijn vuist op zijn borst.
Keek naar mij en Mike en stak zijn duim over zijn nek.
Hij pakte de bal, recht op de ring.
Nam een harde rechtse stap en toen gleed hij uit in hondenpoep.
Mike en ik begonnen te lachen en hij verdiende het ook.
De rest van de dag noemden we hem kapitein Poepie schoen.
Toen stuiterde de bal naar me toe Big Blue was zo groot dat ik nauwelijks kon zien
Ik pakte de bal en gooide hem in de lucht.
Hoewel ik niets kon zien had ik het gevoel dat Mike daar was.
Hij pakte de bal en deed een steegje-hoepel
Bovenop James, liet hij hem eruit zien als een punker.
Toen kwam James ' vriendin langs. ze stopte daar en keek me recht in de ogen.
Ze zei:
Waarom huilt James? - Omdat hij net ondergedompeld is. Ik lieg niet eens. hij is net ondergedompeld.
Dus sprong ik in de lucht en dook het op zijn gezicht.
Voor de rest van het spel ging de hoofdrol heen en weer.
Het stond gelijk toen ik de scorebord controleerde.
Er waren nog maar 10 Seconden over.
James ging naar binnen voor een lay-up, maar zijn schot werd geblokkeerd.
Waarom? En dan uit Big Blue
Met de draaimolen ging ik recht op de ring af.
Ik keek naar Mike, stak mijn hand in de lucht
James stond in de weg, maar het kon me niet schelen.
Mike gooide een perfecte pass en ik sprong zo hoog
Ik was ver in de lucht, hond het voelde alsof ik kon vliegen
Ik pakte de bal en gooide hem hard naar beneden.
Bovenop James voelde ik me een superster.
Zo hebben Mike en ik de basketbalwedstrijd gewonnen.
We versloegen Big Blue en Big Bad James
Want Mike en ik zijn het beste team.
En we hoorden James huilen en we hoorden zijn moeder schreeuwen
Ze zei:…
