Was ik verder van je geweten, stond ik tegenover de muur
Ik vermoedde dat er iets was wat je me niet vertelde en gisteravond leerde ik de reden voor dit alles.
Ik keek door je raam en zag je iemand anders kussen.
Je reikte omhoog en draaide mijn foto langzaam naar de muur.
Gezicht naar de muur zodat je helemaal niets hoeft te zien om je te laten denken
door de gierigheid van het moment voelde je je beschaamd en klein.
Was ik verder van je geweten, stond ik tegenover de muur
Alleen in de duisternis waren de ogen die je aanbaden
Terwijl je me bedroog zag ik mijn ijdele val
Met jouw armen om een ander en zijn lippen waar de mijne zou moeten zijn toen zag ik dat je mijn foto langzaam omdraaide naar de muur
