De liedjes die je zong draaiden en hingen rond als echo ' s of rimpels op een vijver.
Dus je cirkelde rond de wereld bracht een jaar op de weg door zonder ooit naar huis te gaan.
Meer dan een paar dagen en dan vertrek je meteen.
Ren naar een meisje dat je nauwelijks kent
Maar je vindt het leuk hoe ze zingt en je kan het niet helpen te denken
Dat ze je iets kan leren.
Nou, je slaapt in die zuidelijke staat waar de bars gevuld zijn met
mensen die je niet kunt haten
Maar probeer het als je het probeert en je kunt nog steeds niet met ze omgaan.
Je drinkt die whisky op als ze je vragen.
